Their branding is pretty low-key, but that's okay. I mean, they're not tryin' to be some fancy-pants company
They have a good track record of adaptin' to change and findin' new opportunities.
I have concern about the environmental impact of trucking, and I wish Arlo G. Lott would do more to address it
I've seen them take risks and try new things, and it's paid off
The leadership is straight fire, and they're always tryin' to improve and make things better
I worked here very good place to work. Because of family I left to be home at night.
I can not say enough about the professionalism, integrity and goodness of character I have personally encountered from ownership on down to office staff. Second to none. I would choose them for all my commercial hauling needs. Diversity and wide coverage. International business devoted to doing things right.
The lott family some of the best people in Idaho
I have been with AGL only 1 month.. Best company to drive for. Great pay and the benefits you cannot get anywhere else. I am treated so well I will never leave.. .
I normally don't do these reviews. But apparently I did on for AGL. I didn't mean to five them a bad review. I know the owners and they are great people. This is a great place.
I started my trucking carrier with AGL in 1987 and worked 16 years as a driver, mechanic, and safety. After moving around to a few different companies it was an easy decision to come back to AGL. This company has grown in size but still maintains the core principles that Arlo Lott started the company with, "Build a company with a heart. One that cared about customers and employees alike. Where his word was as good as a contract; where employees became part of a growing family."
I've been here for 6 months and it's so awesome to work for people who care about you and what you do. I would recommend that you join the family
Horrible company. Do not do business with them. They need to bring back arlo and get rid of the new owner. Business was much more simpler back than. What a shame.
I've been driving under arlo lott dispatch for a year now under a owner operator truck, start as a company driver next Monday ,really like this organization they treat you with alot of respect, they also have great equipment to operate first class operation from what I know on my end. Louie
Shady company. If you're not Mormon you don't stand a chance. Used to be so family oriented. Do not have policy and procedures in place. Administration side is nothing but drama and the dispatchers are treated like gold. Unrealistic expectations - and management that does nothing to resolve issues. Pay is not that great.
Great company to work. I have been working for this company for about three years . I found my self immediately in a friendly and familiar environment . They are always ready to help you . They never pressured me on the job . They are professional and full of humanity . Thanks to the whole team of Pasco and the team of Jerome , thanks to Mitch , thanks to Celene for interpreting me several times . Signed by Marco Ciarmatori
Currently working for them and although pay lacks, everything else makes up for it! Couldn't think of being somewhere else!
Thank you for taking care of the pink beast. It saved us from poverty after I lost my really great job because of COVID. It has 600K MI and runs like a champ. Take care
Great place to work family oriented loved working with them
my husband worked with this company for several years, good pay and good benefits. owners are great people and he said they were very easy to talk to. he only quit to spend more time with myself and our boys.. two thumbs up....
Always have been professional drivers for the most part seem to have nice equipmet but they could educate their drivers about funeral precession rule and some common curtesy and yes we do have lights on our vehicle’s thanks
I have been employed at Arlo G Lott trucking now for over 2 years. The ownership they are awesome!! At the core of this organization is a family oriented family run business. Get them loaded! Get them paid! Get them home!
Currently work here now, awesome people, family like atmosphere doors are always open to talk even the shop, other driver's are helpful, benefits are incredible for my whole family, they have driver family get-togethers for holidays well maintained equipment. And 95%of the driver's still flash there lights and wave when the see another truck on the road like the old days.I was out for 3+ weeks due to a injury (non work related) they helped in any way they could, called to check on me. Even calls from the shop. I'm Home weekends drive thru during the week. By far the best company I ever drove for...
Fantastic team to work with, especially the recruiter—everyone is highly efficient. The equipment is always in excellent condition, and there’s plenty of work to keep you busy.
The pay is based on load percentage. Even when running Ag exempt, you can push yourself to the limit and still struggle financially. In my experience, the equipment was in poor condition. That said, the people I interacted with were very kind.
Either you have a truck or you don’t—simple as that. It’s a decent job when the trucks are functioning and the mine operates smoothly. However, the benefits are costly and inadequate, and the pay is below industry standards for a Hazmat doubles/triples position. Some drivers take pride in keeping their trucks clean, but many leave them in rough shape.
A standard trucking job with a fixed route that rarely changes. I get my weekends off and haul various materials. The most challenging part of the job is tarping during the winter.
One of the best jobs I’ve ever had! The manager always supported drivers and mechanics, ensuring work was available even during slow periods. Highly recommend this job!
A great company to drive for—they recognize drivers as individuals rather than just numbers. There are multiple fleets available, ranging from regional to over-the-road.
Employees are treated like family, and the work is straightforward. They operate their own local shop, minimizing downtime. If you report equipment issues, they ensure repairs get done promptly.
The pay is a bit low, and management needs better follow-through. They have plenty of ideas, but few ever materialize. Overall, AGL isn’t a bad place to work.
An excellent team to work with, and they genuinely care about family. However, they seem to miss the mark when it comes to pay. Like most businesses, they focus on maximizing profits while minimizing expenses—often at the driver’s expense. If managed correctly, being an owner-operator here can be profitable.
Their main concern is keeping trucks moving, while home time is rare. You can put in relentless effort and receive little appreciation in return. They cut costs at the expense of their employees. The company was better when Arlo owned it, but it has declined. After sustaining an injury that might leave me disabled, they simply handed me my walking papers.
