Terrible company
I came in with zero trucking experience, and now I’m out here driving like a pro
They made it happen without breaking a sweat!
They provide solid jobs for folks in the area
Routes are well-planned, and I’ve had the chance to explore some amazing places
Thanks for having a phone Option to call a complaint department about your reckless drivers Driving through clearly posted no trucks allowed residential neighborhoods snapping tree limbs as they go this is illegal
Driver driving truck 18060 almost ran me and my boyfriend off the road by speeding by the entrance to the freeway. We literally went off the road or else we would have been hit
You need to know that they crapped on every W-2 driver they had recently, it’s now 10-99 lease purchase or o.o only, horrible equipment that is barely running… this company doesn’t have long… RUN RUN RUN
Best Trucking Company to work with as a owner operator...!!! -Very Professional and Responsive Staff -Good Paying Loads Thanks To all for your support ..:)
They didn’t honk at my kid when he did the honking arm movement
Absolutely 💯 it’s a great company I have been working lot of company such like cargo solution Calver MBx and more and it’s my pleasure to Stay here really long time Finally get what I want ☝️☝️☝️
Dispatcher Jenessa Gorgonio did our company real dirty. Booked on a shipment to pick up 07-08 2200 hours, driver (nice guy) was in contact with me & dispatch. He told us his company put him on another load to pick up when we spoke with him last. I only received an email at 1800 (After Hours) that this drivers delivery got pushed out & they needed to cancel our load which was a complete LIE. Didn't even bother to call our office as I mentioned to her we are 24/7. Moving forward this company cannot be trusted, burned a bridge with a logistics company operating over 25 years.
I have not worked personally with these people but a friend of mine worked for and says good think about them. Keep going. We want more poeple like you in this bussines. May god bless you bussines.
This is a horrible company in every way imaginable. Do not attempt to do business with these unethical people. They refuse to pay their bills for services rendered and treat people horribly. I highly recommend avoiding this unbelievably disorganized and poorly run “company.”
If your willing to work without excuses you can do very well . Contact the company number say truck 3624 allan as a referral and see what my employer can do for you.
I have worked here for 3 years now. No place is perfect but no employer has ever treated me as well as I have been treated here. Always appreciated here, and my worst day is still never as bad as at other places!
I just got hired and originally was to work directly for Excel but now I drive for a contractor through them...Nothing against Excel...All the ppl here are Great to deal with especially Jeff...I look forward to a long relationship with Excel

This people it’s nice and I like them
Good company ! Better than the other companies that I have experienced been here since 2015. Great company culture!
The work schedule here is inconsistent, with both good and bad weeks. The equipment is top-notch, though they've recently added driver cams. I enjoyed meeting the people here, but the schedule is the biggest challenge.
The best part of working at the company is clocking in, completing your runs, clocking out, and going home. The most stressful aspect is that the job becomes highly repetitive when assigned a pit and plant—you’re constantly moving back and forth all day.
Management disregards customer complaints about service, which is frustrating. I wish they would be more receptive. They make promises but fail to follow through.
Pay isn’t guaranteed, and there’s a lot of waiting around. The company will withhold your last paycheck and leave negative feedback on your DAC report—avoid working here.
The company operates unprofessionally across the board. Miles are highly inconsistent, and communication is terrible. Some trucks and trailers are overdue for inspections by two years, and maintenance is not a priority, putting drivers' licenses at risk. If you aren’t directly benefiting them or handling part of their job, they don't care about you. When on-call, they often forget the computer or respond with “IDK.” If you need assistance after 5 pm on weekdays or on weekends, you’re on your own.
This could be a great workplace if management and dispatchers were better. Dispatchers prioritize themselves, assigning high-paying routes only to family and favored drivers. Trucks are well-maintained, but the work environment isn’t family-oriented or supportive of driver needs. Their attitude toward drivers is mostly “sink or swim.” It's an okay starting place for new truckers to gain experience.
Work-life balance at Excel Trucking is nearly impossible. Pay and benefits do not match what was initially promised. In terms of job security, employees are easily replaceable. Management does not prioritize safety or employee well-being. Collaboration among colleagues is decent.
I drove for this company for almost four years. When I signed on, I agreed to an employee handbook stating that any outstanding expenses upon leaving would be deducted from my last paycheck. That happened, but I was never pressured to go beyond my limits. This is a strict on-time delivery operation, so rescheduling is rarely an option. Overall, I was happy and treated well, leaving only to pursue team driving elsewhere. I was present during multiple DOT audits, which raised no concerns. Not everyone will be satisfied, but many drivers who left for “greener pastures” ended up returning.
They promise to get you home by a specific date and reassure you when asked—but when the day arrives, you might pull into your driveway after your planned event has already passed. Expect to drive a full 11 hours a day and complete resets at a truck stop midweek.
Trucking is tough and often unappreciated. However, Excel Trucking has been better than other companies I've worked for. Pay arrives on time every Friday, I get the time off I need, and the trucks are nice. Trucking has its challenges, but they make an effort to improve the experience.
This was a great place to work with plenty of loads and generous delivery time. They try to get drivers home on schedule, but trucking doesn’t always allow for personal preferences.
An excellent workplace that values family and time off. They go out of their way to support employees. The trucks are newer, and most loads are drop-and-hook. Hard-working drivers who correctly manage their HOS can get decent miles.
I enjoyed my time here. Management treated me well and helped me through stressful moments. My coworkers were supportive and friendly. I’d recommend it as a good place to work.
They reported on my DAC that I quit under dispatch when I refused a load. They cheated me out of a significant sum, and they should be shut down. This company prioritizes its own interests, pretending to care about drivers only when it benefits them.
Excel is growing fast, but it’s suffering from serious “growing pains.” The Operations Manager is overwhelmed, and drivers bear the consequences. If they can overcome these struggles, they have potential for a strong future.
