Great company to drive for. I rate them highly for one of the most congenial and respectful dispatching staff in the industry. Their trucks are reliable and well maintained, most are late models but even the older fleets of 2 to 5 years are in like new condition.

I drove with J&R several years ago and have since left the industry. Every company certainly has positive and negative aspects but honestly this is a good company.

Good company to work for. Get you home when you need it. Plenty of miles to keep you rolling. Good equipment. Good customer and freight network. I see too many people complaining about this place. Honestly, nothing to complain about if you're doing your job right. Haters complain because they want to sit and not work. Be a go getter. This company deserves above 4 stars

I may have been fortunate, but my driver manager was excellent—easygoing and largely hands-off. The pay was fair, and there was no shortage of miles. As my first CDL job, I was very satisfied with the experience.
