Nice, roomy yard. I was there to drop a Prime empty. Navajo drivers were patient and safe going through the yard. Area was clean. Be careful backing the trailers because there is a fence that looks like it's been hit before. 🤨🧐😒 The guy in the guard shack was very kind and helpful and showed me exactly where the empty needed to be parked.

Tonight (9/3/25) I had passed the driver in truck 231010 earlier in the night and tried to tell him he had a blown drive tire throwing sparks and rubber all over the road. About 10 minutes later at a truck stop in Pocahontas Arkansas he pulls up next to me so I tell him in person he has a blown tire and asked if he was aware. He says he's already aware, rolls his eyes and then gets back in the truck and pulls back onto the highway.

Update: I am increasing their stars, due to proper communication and equity regarding the $.10/mile charge. That shows equity between both parties. Thank you! My company will no longer do business wirh Navajo Express. They charged us $.10 per mile on a load out we completed for them. Added up to $76 bucks and they still havent answered me where I agreed to that. Once we booked the load, I never heard back from Gracie my broker, after leaving voicemails and sending emails. When submitting payments, you get an automated email, nothing to confirm everyhting was submitted correctly. They will cut the check on the 30th day, and put it in the mail, so you realistically get paid 40+ days after you drop the load. A person who signs emails -kf, ( no kidding thats the whole signature) monitors the payinquiry email. They respond with one sentence emails that fails to clarify anything you ask in your email. Overall I went over the top to represent them during my haul, and they can ultimately care less about an owner operator once they got what they need.

We do a load for Navajo express it have delivery appointment Friday 0800 driver arrived and been told he has no appointment for this load have to wait until Monday. No one answer all they replied is driver arrived late and will se what they can do (nothing just blame driver) showed them truck in site on time. No answers. After delivery ask them to pay detention same no answer. Send the invoice through factoring company just to find out they won't take them because they don't pay. Send them the invoice and waiting for the 30days to get paid but now I see this is going to be a miracle if they pay

HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! They will set-up appointments outside of the receiver times and have you wait there all weekend while NO ONE answer the phone. not for anything. Not dispatch, NOT tracking, Not even anyone to report an accident because even that number i tried for an hour. Nothing. to tell me Monday morning that they do not have dispatch 24/7

Do not work with this company I will file a claim aginest them. “They do not pay, and even if they make a payment after months of chasing, they deduct 20% under the excuse of tracking. This is unacceptable. I have all the screenshots and proof, including their confirmation that there was no issue with tracking.

These guys are serious pirates! We have never had a good experience pulling loads for them. First time, the trailer needed a tire. They okayed the repair but then didn’t compensate us for it when we submitted a receipt with our paperwork. Second time, the driver arrived at the pickup location and discovered the assigned trailer was not DOT compliant. We declined the load when they showed no interest in having the trailer repaired or assigning a different trailer. The DOT needs to shut this company down!

We booked a load with Navajo and confirmed everything rate, terms, and instructions all documented via email. After pickup, the receiver canceled, and we were instructed to return the load to the shipper, which we did without delay. Despite doing our job and following all instructions, Navajo refused to pay the agreed rate. Even with everything clearly documented, they failed to honor their own commitment. Communication was poor, and they’ve made no effort to resolve the issue professionally. This kind of behavior is unethical and disrespectful to carriers who operate in good faith. If you’re a carrier, be very cautious working with Navajo they do not stand by their agreements.

Terrible company to work with. they deducted $500 from our first load for no valid reason. After months, we decided to give them a second chance — big mistake. Then they stole $710 (20%) from our payment for a “tracking issue” that never happened and never once notified us about it. We emailed and zero response. This company lies, hides behind excuses, and has no respect for carriers. Totally unprofessional, dishonest, and unreliable. If you’re a carrier, STAY AWAY — they will find any excuse to take your money

HORRIBLE COMPANY TO WORK WITH! My fiance has been trying to contact them regarding pay for a load and this company has been nothing, but useless in terms of communication and progress for reaching the accounting department and pay. They take advantage of their carriers and are a complete joke/ waste of time to work with. For being a huge company, the fact that they are still in business is baffling. The whole network should be demolished. They should be blacklisted from any and everything they touch and customers should also remove them as reputable and reliable in any form. A company can get away with anything if you let them.

Navajo Express is the worst company I've EVER worked for. If you have trucking experience with years under your belt DO NOT apply here. They start you off with .45 cents a mile which is peanuts to an experiences driver. Also when I was given my truck I had a rear axle air bag leak and front axle air bag leak and I told the mechanic about the front and you could clearly see the rear axle because the bolt had popped off and the air bag was hanging off the frame. The mechanic only fixed the rear axle air bag so when I went to pick up a load I had already had to cancel I could not pull my load because my front axle air bag was leaking and you could hear the air from inside the truck and my PSI would not go above 100 which on those trucks, it will not let you switch from Neutral to Drive or Reverse. Also when they gave me my truck the mechanics did not torch down the bolts on my front axle drivers side in the back and my tires were coming off. All in all this company is the WORST and I mean that plus if you're not moving you're not getting paid which is a bummer. They don't pay you for your truck being down and with their response to your truck being down that could take forever and outside mechanics do not have good things to say about them. Reconsider VERY hard before you go to this company and choose someone else. I only worked here for a less than a week and I found a better job with a better company, soon as I saw what was going on I starting putting in other applications at other jobs so I could leave ASAP.

Our experience with Navajo was an absolute disaster from start to finish. We booked a load with Navajo expedited, but once the load was booked, their phone number stopped working entirely. No matter how many times we called, no one ever answered. It's incredibly frustrating to be left in the dark with no communication. If you need detention, don't even bother trying to contact them. They simply hide and avoid answering the phone, leaving you to give up in frustration. It's clear they have no intention of providing any support once they've secured your business. When we tried to get help, we were transferred to Navajo Express, only to find out they only deal with their own trucks. This added another layer of inconvenience and wasted time. We spent an entire day calling and emailing, trying to get a hold of someone—anyone—in the company, but to no avail. The lack of response is beyond ridiculous. To top it all off, we couldn't even get a pick-up number for our load. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. We strongly advise everyone to stay away from Navajo. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this company at all costs. Their lack of communication and support is not worth the headache.

DON’T do business with this company. Broker doesn’t not want to pay for moved loads, layovers or detentions. No one answers the phone or replies to email. Issues with obtaining the pick up numbers. Brokerage charged us (Prime Road Carriers INC) $300 fee for driver not having tracking. Dispatch was all the time in contact with their team and updated them on a regular basis. Driver did accept the tracking but it didn't work from some reason. No one mentioned an issue with tracking. Bad business. We won't work with Navajo brokerage again

Navajo truck parked on a street in Aberdeen Washington in a place that was not safe and obstructed the view for other drivers pulling out on the street. Several drivers complained to the company with zero response. I have seen several reviews and didn't belive them until I dealt with it personally. When I called dispatch I offered several different places with avaliable parking that was safer for the truck and the other drivers in the area but didn't even get so Much as a call back.

I took a load from them in May 7th and it was supposed to get delivered on May 10th. When Costco was unloading they noticed two broken pallets due to the way it was placed and Costco sent us to get it fix. It wasn’t that bad and my driver just wanted to get home and so he ended up taking matters on his hands and got it fix. We communicated with Adrian A. And we told him to hold the appt and he didn’t do it, he went home for the weekend. We tried to get a hold of after hours team with no luck. Driver ended up staying there the weekend and on Monday we thought all was going to get fix and done deal, mannnnn…. I was soooo wrong. Adrian didn’t do nothing on Monday, instead he added useless Rhonda P, Jimmy D and the OS&D team, from all of them no one did anything until Wednesday after we had sent them a warehousemen paper, then Traci responded and we didn’t get an appt until May 17th. Okay all that done, now my payment is not getting sent, I’ve been emailing Traci and she is only saying she is waiting a response from her customer, like how far is your customer that he is not even answering??? 3 weeks that all this happened and still no money on my bank. STAY AWAY from his company, they are dishonest, liars, thief, and an embarrassment to the industry.

I've driven for a few different companies but what stood out about Navajo at this point in my career was how upfront and honest they were right off the bat. Everything my recruiter told me held up right through orientation, during paper work and on the road. Even on a lazy day it's easy to get close to 500 miles a day with 450 in one day if I'm not laying the hammer to my throttle. There fleet isn't fresh from the show room, but that isn't a deal breaker for me when the miles are there, and management treats me like a human being rather than a truck number. Haven't had any issues with many breakdowns so I can't speak honestly about their breakdown dept. Everyone is a treat to talk to back at the Denver yard, any issues I've had with sitting has been a shipper/receiver problem and not a Navajo problem. Dispatch is a treat to communicate with and I personally haven't had any issues. Trucking is trucking, and Navajo doesn't add to any of the problems associated with it.

I am here at Navaho Express to complete my orientarion and training so I can start to drive big rigs. I completed my CDL schooling at Excel Driver Services and passed my CDL class A at the end of July 2020. I want to drive locally but I dont have any verifiable experience as most local companies want at least 1 year of experience to keep their insurance premiums down. I've always been able to drive pretty much any vehicle automatic or manual. I was having a rough time finding a local driving job that didn't have me out for weeks at a time as I have 3 pets at home to take care of. My school recommended Navaho Express and I got the job! Just getting through orientation now and in about 5 or 6 weeks I will be in my own truck driving from Denver to Salt Lake City and home every other day. I am looking forward to this career change.

I will not work for this company again they don't pay detention I was stuck with a load at the receiver for 12 hrs they pay $150 for those 12 hrs is like slap in the face they are a trucking co. But they treat Carrier with no respect . Please be sure it doesn't happen to you guys .

Only go to Navajo if you need experience and don’t prioritize home time or personal life—communication is nonexistent. Driver leaders are ineffective, double- and triple-stacking assignments despite drivers lacking hours. Requests for home time are routinely ignored or delayed. The pay is low—40 cents per mile. Swift Transportation would be a better option. Navajo is struggling, but they won’t admit it.

Worked here for about a year, starting at the Denver location. My driver manager was excellent, but my truck was unrepairable. Spent more time in the shop than on the road. Despite always being on time (or early) for pickups and deliveries, I didn’t even make $30K in a year. Spent many nights in run-down motels while waiting for repairs. The Denver shop was the worst—held onto the truck for ages, then falsely claimed it was fixed. The SLC shop wasn’t much better, assuming they accepted the truck at all. The Tolleson yard had solid mechanics, but I’ve heard they’ve since quit. Good choice for second-chance drivers needing employment, especially if their CDL record isn’t perfect. Just don’t expect high mileage.

My husband works here full-time, and I work during summers. It’s the only company I’ve seen that allows me to work just two months a year. They’ve always treated us well—my husband has been here for six years, and the company has stood by him in ways most others wouldn’t. I’m loyal to Navajo because they’ve been loyal to us. I can’t speak for other reviews, but I’ve always had a new truck and never faced issues like others claim. To me, Navajo is a great company.
