Let me tell you, RJ Schinner’s been around longer than you’ve been alive. They got some old-school charm, but don’t let that fool you—these fellas know their stuff.

No finger-pointing, noexcuses, just fixes.

Arrived 30 mins early for appointment, took a total of 3.5 hours to unload that's doesn't include me being early, other trucks came that were in and out within 30 mins.

The kid at check in to get unloaded is a real A-hole! Must have been a mama's boy! Disrespectful, kid! Can't conduct yourself in a professional manner. Then stay home! Anyway..my appointment was for 0930.. checked in at 0823.. they wasn't busy at all.. In fact, no other drivers were here.. kid said he can't guarantee I get unloaded right away and gave me a dock door.. after lumper paid.. it took around a hour for my light to turn red..started unloading me.. not too bad so far.. except for the kid who needs to leave his problems at home.. at 1100 they brought me my paperwork.. I gave it a 2 star because of the young man..who needs to grow up..

Overall good place to deliver. Washroom available at door 8. Overnight parking on street. Strictly by appt time. They just need to work on their check in guy. He is a mess.

Got here for a drop at 9am for a 12:30appt and was told I had to wait until appt time which is expected although some receivers will work you in sooner. Got dock at 12:15 and only had 15 pallets on the truck….still took 120 minutes to unload….8 minutes per pallet which is a joke for a dry goods warehouse. Shipper loaded this same load in 17 minutes. This is not the first time I’ve been here and got unloaded at the pace of a snail. We will no longer take any loads that deliver to this place and would like to see other carriers start boycotting companies like this. Don’t expect them to respect truckers schedules or time.

Arrived at 8:50 for a 9:30 appointment. Call in and assigned a dock immediately. Started to unload me at 10:15, finished at 11:40. Friendly people.

Drivers please do yourself a favor before coming to this company. Please read the reviews and the comments and decide for yourself whether you want to come here or not. I had 5 pallets and I was 30 minutes early and they took 2 hours to unload 5 pallets what? I will never come back here again and I forgot to mention the guy at the receiver what an idiot he is.

This is WI not FL clean ur shipping and receiving sign 👁👀so first time truck driver knows how to get in this place,instead being RUDE to the driver 😒 🙄manners goòoò a long wayÿyyyyyy!!😊😁

Not 2 bad delivery takes like 3-4 hours , come early they open at 6 am park in the front there’s a spot in the side of the gate u can chick in 6 am even if u have in appointment

Truckers: you can park in front of gate for overnight. 3 trucks can be parked on that road just before the closed gate. Nice washroom at door 8. Takes time to unload. Opens 6:15am. 2 hours to get unloaded.

I had app at 2 PM , they said you have it at 10 and we stop taking receiving at 11 and now Im waiting until tomorrow , bad services all this for 4 palettes , we're 2 drivers sleeping here until tomorrow , my first and last time Ill come here

Very very slow offloading, they took 3 hours to empty my trailer while I was the only me on the dock.

Picked a load up here and they load you up pretty quick here.

All I had to do was drop and hook today so didn't take me too long to get in and out. They open the gates a bit before 6:30am so don't get there too early. Easy to get into the docks as well.

What is the best part of working at the company? Nothing stands out. The work environment is toxic, the operating system is outdated, and the pay doesn’t justify the stress. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? It’s poor, with unrealistic expectations. What is a typical day like for you at the company? "What issue will arise today? Who will blame whom for what today?"

The day started at 4:00 AM and ended upon returning to the branch. The workplace culture was toxic. The early start was the hardest part of the job, though interacting with the same customers weekly was enjoyable. I was terminated while on medical leave.

What is the best part of working at the company? Management and coworkers were excellent, and the pay was great. My experience at RJ Schinner was very positive. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Nothing; I didn’t find the role stressful. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? I had the freedom to manage my own pace and was not micromanaged.

The hourly pay was excellent, with overtime after 40 hours. I had my own truck with no slip seating and my own stable route. End-of-year bonuses were a nice perk. The driver manager, a former driver, understood our needs. Weekends were off unless I volunteered for overtime. Whenever I needed additional income, the manager actively sought out overtime opportunities. The company was family-owned and treated me like a person rather than just part of the truck.

Routes never changed, making punctuality at the first appointment crucial. Drivers were required to touch freight and do pickups after the route, with bi-weekly pay.

This is a great company to work for. Management is excellent, trucks are well-maintained and clean, and everyone works well together, including dispatch.

RJ Schinner is an excellent company to work for, offering great benefits, vacation days, and personal days after six months of employment. During Hurricane Harvey, when employees couldn’t make it to work, RJ Schinner still paid us for the time off caused by the storm. Overall, it’s a great company, though there have been issues with management in the past. Some employees experienced bullying and disrespectful treatment by supervisors and managers, including pay deductions and threats to their jobs for speaking out. Hopefully, management has improved since then. Despite these concerns, RJ Schinner itself remains an outstanding company.

I would never work here again. The company is prejudiced and biased in how employees are treated. Training is poor, making this one of the worst places I’ve ever worked.

The work was straightforward. I handled both shipping and receiving tasks. The job involved using heavy machinery and required critical thinking skills, but overall it wasn’t challenging.

The job itself is decent, but the transportation manager is solely focused on bonuses, tends to be intimidating, and prefers hiring younger employees for this reason. The manager is often dishonest, so it’s essential to get any commitments in writing.

I started working here when it was still Clark Products, but after the company struggled, RJ Schinner took over. The environment became strict, and management was difficult to work with.

The company offers decent pay and benefits. However, the warehouse manager at the Tampa location is verbally aggressive and often curses at employees. His behavior is inconsistent, ranging from professional one day to confrontational the next. If you want respectful management, this might not be the place for you.

The job was good overall. Some deliveries were challenging, especially for 53-foot trailers. Otherwise, the company maintained clean warehouses, parking lots, and trucks.

The driver/warehouse manager was frequently rude and used foul language, making communication difficult. This location was unpleasant, although other locations were better. The warehouse staff were hostile due to poor working conditions. Hardworking employees were treated unfairly while others got away with inappropriate behavior, making this a challenging company to work for.

RJ Schinner was a solid company to work for, with excellent benefits. The managers were professional and approachable. However, the company underwent downsizing, leading to the end of my employment. I would still recommend RJ Schinner.

I enjoy working here because of early start times, such as 5:00 AM, and finishing by 1:00 PM. This schedule allows me to attend my children’s school activities without concerns about being late. My workload is sent to me electronically at night, enabling adjustments to my start time if needed.
