Ugggh 0 stars!!! These people are the worst. I WAS SUPPOSED to be unloaded in the back of the facility and there is absolutely NO ROOM to maneuver!! Those containers are too close to the fence in front of you as your docking and there is containers to close to the dock on the side of you. As a result a container caught the side of my opened door and ripped it!! Move those containers out of the way!!! I couldn't get loaded and I'm forced to sit at a LOVE's while my trailer is being repaired!! I hate this place and their lack of sympathy for drivers. The warehouse worker rushed me to move out of the way after the accident without any regards to the situation that just occurred!! Heartless!!
NO PARKING INSIDE AND OUTSIDE Appointment 10am Door gave 5pm 2 place for checked in NO OPTION FOR ZERO STAR
Must check in on the front side of the building along Polaris St. near dock 132. Must bring your D/L to check in, tractor plate number & pickup numbers or P.O’s. Place gets super, super busy almost chaotic, whether your loading front side (street side) or the rear of the building. Port traffic clogs up the street in both directions. Make sure to bring your A-game backing skills along with a whole lotta patience. If you’re directed to go around back to the rear of the building, proceed down the street towards S. Bay Ave. Reach the end of the building, 2nd driveway make a left & check in with security. Showing ur D/L again and paperwork. Proceed down the yard to check in at the corresponding door depending what building your getting loaded out of. Yard is pretty busy & in some places pretty tight. Some areas might be crowded with not enough room to maneuver. Many obstacles in the way. Depending on what time you arrive, loading may take 2+ hours. Workers here are ok for the most part. What do you expect from port workers working in NJ? This that Jersey attitude!
U have to be patient here. Check-in is done 3 times. High traffic area; Trucks and cars moving non stop 😡 Nobody is giving way to u. so, u have to push. Tight backup and no overnight parking.
Stay away from this place . Parking is problem , check in is problem , getting door is problem ,loading takes all day !!! Stay away when you ask question about your loading status they are disrespectful and telling you to leave and go wait in your truck . Taking their sweet time lazy disrespectful people …
I thought this would be a nightmare on steroids lol... Ran smooth as butter. Checked in 1hr before appt and got a door instantly. Had me loaded in 30 minutes, then bills & 👻. I was not expecting that shit lol. For such a busy place the machine is well oiled.
no staging area at all. no restrooms at all. if you get here good luck finding some where to park. then you have to check into 2 different doors at to separate time. a nightmare . oh and to get loaded 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣get ready
Don’t worry about yours hours because they mean squat to these people can not check in no more than 1 hour early the 3 plus hours to load
Live load - checkin @ door 132 - bring CDL. Know the license plate # of trl & tractor, have 2 load bars. As you can see, the docks are not made for 53 footers with tandems slide to back. My tractor is a slight angle to stay out the street. This street gets busy due port traffic. Nerves of steel are needed (4 years of experience here, but even the old heads say you need to have your head on a swivel when getting on the dock door bc trucks & cars may or may not stop to give you room to do what you need to do)
Managed our products well, aand llowed us to focus on what we do best - creating high-quality products for our customers
Truly care about getting our products to market safely
I've worked fo a bigger company, but working for East coast I don't look back. The pay is better, the miles are more consistent
I'm new, and people are always friendly and willing to lend a hand
Hello, I am a friend of a driver who works with Safeway, I hear nothing but bad things about this company. This company has reduced the rates of the owner-operators by over 30% over the past year-and-a-half They have also taken away their Bobtail pay and late move pay. This company is getting worse by the month and losing the trust of its owner-operators.
They open at 5:30 am. Park on the street. The door is hidden between the behind the trailers in the corner of the building. I was out in an hour. They’ve a clean proper restroom too.
I normally don't give reviews but I have to give kudos to the people here, very friendly and helpful, tight backing, saw I was struggling to get in a door and gave me another door, told them I could get it in but they said the other door was easier and I wouldn't be blocking traffic as much, took the other door and thanked them 😀
Great place to work
The manager Don is a pretty cool dude if I do say so myself!
Talk A Mr. Ed He Was Very Rude & Jump smh Not A Good Look For The company! I'll Never Do Business With Them!👌
Such a relaxing work interment. Come in do your job.
Very good poeple and need takes along time to unload
Nice folks. No overnight parking Fairly tight backing.
Wonderful people, caring and family like!
They will leave you stuck with a ezpass bill from 3 years prior and ruin your registration for your truck then laugh like its funny then say sorry....F.O.H. not a good place to work
Solid all around performance, met my needs
Really bad employers
Tell the idiot going to integrated industries that where Rahway Ave in WB goes onto Berry you have to yield to traffic coming down Rahway. Had to slam on the brakes for this guy pulling a left directly in front of me and I was in another truck.
Bad company bad rate No have work no pay good Always missing pay in n the check lol 🤣ect…the containers area bad work bad bad …
This Trucking company is mob owned. All truckers should report any illegal activity to a local FSMCA representative. Be wise this is NOT a reputable trucking company.
Very nice PEOPLE...Huge yard and now they have a BIG lift containers to your empty chassis...
Very bad company
noise and face covering at all times
Good company
