Vista Trans Holding is a mid‑sized nationwide carrier with around 400 trucks. The equipment isn’t brand new, but drivers say it’s well maintained and the company runs a solid, professional operation. The work environment seems fairly independent — you’re mostly left alone to run your loads — and the company offers strong pay, especially for reefer, heavy haul, and team drivers. Because of that mix of freedom, steady freight, and solid earnings, vista trans jobs tend to appeal to drivers who want good pay without heavy micromanagement.
Vista Trans Holding is a company with very mixed reviews — some drivers love it, and others warn people to stay away. The truth seems to fall somewhere in the middle. Vista Trans Holding can be a good‑paying, easygoing place if things go smoothly — many drivers report great miles, good equipment, and respectful treatment, and Vista Trans Holding salary is often described as competitive when everything is running right. But it can also be a high‑risk company if you’re not careful. Escrow issues, unexpected deductions, and communication problems are the biggest red flags.

Vista Trans Holding is an established, asset-based over-the-road (OTR) carrier, operating since 2011 with a nationwide U.S. footprint. The company runs a sizable fleet of 410 power units and specializes in a diverse range of freight, including Dry Van, Refrigerated, Heavy Haul, and Expedited services. For potential employees, the company offers late-model, well-equipped trucks and is praised for its reliable, on-time pay. However, drivers should note the relatively high Vehicle Out-of-Service (OOS) rate and reports of challenges with load availability (sits) and home time scheduling.

I work with Vista from my brokerage on a daily basis. No matter how many trucks I need, they have them ready at a moment's notice. Extremely accurate transit times, accurate and honest updates, and if you run into an issue - they will get it taken care of. In this industry, it is very difficult to find an honest and reliable carrier that will give you a fair price as well. Vista is that carrier. You won't regret working with them.
This trucking company has some of the best equipment I've seen in the industry. Their trucks are well-maintained and outfitted with the latest technology, making it easy for me to stay connected and communicate with dispatch.
Great company. Good logistics. Pleasure doing business with.
Great Company I am very happy from the staff they are very nice and friendly specially from my dispatch Dimitri.
Best place, new trucks and trailer and very friendly staff, I left driving with Vista but to be honest there are great people and very respectful, but some of dispatchers are the worst I have ever seen they are very rude
Vista trans brokered a load to my company from Gadsden, AL to Pleasant Prairie, WI on 07/21/25 for delivery on 07/23/25. Unfortunately, our driver was 3 hours late due to issues on the road; however, the delay was communicated in a timely and professional manner. Upon arriving, our delivery was rescheduled for the next business day. Delays such as traffic, weather, mechanical issues, accidents on the road, and acts of god are not something we can control. We communicated everything and the broker had GPS tracking on the shipment. We completed the delivery the next day without any issues, clean paperwork, and no overages, shortages,or damages. Vista trans decided to find us in the amount of $1462.44. An industry standard late fee is $150-$250. We were never informed at the time of booking that the customer could charge such a ridiculous late fee. Nothing was on the contract, there are no clauses or terms that justify such a deduction. Legally it is not enforceable. Vista trans refused to mitigate the charge or even discuss a possible resolution. The load paid $1100. Therefore not only did we provide services for FREE, vista trans wants US to pay THEM $362.44 for delivering freight for them and their customer. This is fradulent and deceptive business practices, and lack of contractual agreement. I would stay away from this broker unless you plan on owing someone money for doing your job.
Vista brokerage not professional make sure to get RC before delivering their load they will book you with one pick one drop but after they will push you for multiple drops and pay nothing for that so stay away
They are not family friendly my daughters had a car wreck they agreed to let me go home just to have another driver pick up the truck I wasn't even home a hour then they stole my escrow after claiming I was gonna get it Nazar is a lie. They may have took $800 outta my check but truthfully I can make them pay 10 times more in repairs.
George Milisavljevic booked us on a load that picks up by 4pm. We arrived 3:40pm and shipper was closed. George misinformed us about the cutoff time, and now he is not answering our calls and is refusing to pay us TONU. We have him confirming by email and on a recorded line that they would load us.
It is better to stop business with them.
I worked with Vitalii Popko on a multi drop complex load. He was the best dispatcher ive ever worked with in years ! I never write reviews for carriers but Vitalii kept me updated and made my job easy. He made me look good! Thank you Vitalii !
I've been running for Vista Trans Holding for at least a year now, and I gotta say, it's been a crazy trip! The journeys are consistent, the vehicles are new, and the dispatch team is outstanding. I've worked with some of the top dispatchers in the company, and they always make sure I'm driving with a full load.
Paychecks come in on time every week. Can't beat that!
Vista got a great culture
Had some troubles with the dispatch crew, but generally, they're doing a great job.
The pay is great, and the bonuses are even better 😁
I had the pleasure of working with Vista Trans Holding, and specifically Maria and Jennifer, and I must say, they were an absolute delight to work with! From start to finish, Vista Trans Holding provided exceptional service and made sure that all of my needs were met. Maria and Jennifer were both incredibly sweet and made me feel welcome every time I visited their office. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that I had a positive experience, and I couldn't be more grateful. I highly recommend Vista Trans Holding for anyone looking for top-notch service and a sweet experience. Thank you, Vista Trans Holding, Maria, and Jennifer for your outstanding work!
This is the best company to work for! Great management very professional and knowledgeable! Dispatch team amazing especially my dispatch Nastya she is the best dispatch I ever worked with! Thank you Nastya! Accounting team very professional no delays or mistakes they will pay you everything to the cent and very honest. My accountant name is Rostislav Krulikovskiy. Thank you Rostislav! Hiring process very easy and helpful. Jenifer you are the best, thank you! Also they have a really good shop where they can help you with ur truck or trailer problems. Thank you Vista Trans!
This is a great company to drive for if you have some trucking experience. I’ve been driving for them for six months and I have nothing bad to say. Consistent miles, 24/7 support, no forced dispatch, newer trucks and trailers. First truck they gave me had only 105k miles. I put 80k miles on that truck and then they gave me a brand new 2024 Volvo VNL860. They pay you weekly via direct deposit, always on time and I’ve never been shorted. You have to stay out on the road for at least three weeks before getting home time. I usually stay out 4-6 weeks so I never have problems with home time requests. Trucks are a bit slow (governed at 68 mph) but I understand it’s for insurance purposes. If you do your job right they do not micromanage you.
This could be the best trucking company in the country if it weren’t for a few things. The office staff I interacted with were fantastic. The mechanics worked with speed and were gifted at solving problems the first time. It’s unbelievable the level of talent nestled in this one company. The dispatchers are another story. Some were worth their weight in gold. Tina was a dream; one of finest dispatchers in the industry. Max was a hard worker and a good guy! He really did his best to make sure the truck made good miles. Respect to Max! I’m not the most patient person so I have some amount of blame in my experience. I moved on; but I would recommend Vista to anyone looking for a good company. It’s a good company, and could be the best — if certain issues got addressed. Hopefully things will get ironed out. I wish the owners of this company eternal success! It’s a great company!
It's a great company to work with. Nice and friendly stuff. Good wedges and bonuses. It's was my pleasure to speak with the head of the recruiting department, Mariya. It is a good despatch department, now what they are doing, especially for me, the open deck department and my dispatch, Daniel. Higly recommend this company.
It’s been 3 amazing months since I joined Vista Trans Holding! Let me tell you, this company has exceeded all my expectations! 🙌 First and foremost, they truly value their hardworking employees. The miles are consistent, and they appreciate your dedication. 🙏 It's so refreshing to be recognized for your efforts and rewarded accordingly. 💪 Shoutout to the incredible HR team, Jennifer and Christine, who made me feel right at home during orientation. They're not only professional but also incredibly warm and approachable. 🤗 You instantly feel like part of the family! I also want to give a special mention to Maria, the head of recruiting relations. She's an absolute rockstar! 🌟 Her friendly and approachable nature makes working with her a breeze. It's so important to be a part of a company where you feel valued, and Vista Trans Holding nails it! 💯 And hold on, there's more! They even reward you for your hard work by offering a 50% airfare discount for dry van employees after just one month of service. ✈️ Yes, you read it right! They'll even book your hometime ticket. Talk about amazing perks! 😱 I can't sing enough praises about this organized and employee-focused company. There's so much more I could say, but for now, I'm incredibly happy and looking forward to many more years with Vista Trans Holding.
I worked here before; about three years ago, and I'm glad I came back. There are some new faces, but the hospitality and environment is 2nd to none . Drivers are treated well and attended to . No one is forgotten. I would like to extend my gratitude to one of their accountants; Miss Baljinder, she will do her best to rectify any problems a driver might have on the subject. I see a future here with these good folks at Vista, 🇨🇱🚛🇺🇲🎚️.... Thanks for letting me come back 🎚️
Working with Vista was overall a decent experience. Stayed 2 yrs money was good. Everyone there helps the drivers to the best of their ability. Especially Baljinder when asking her assistance with issues she was always cheerful and happy to help me, excellent service from her.
I'm a flatbed driver with 6 years experience, i applied for a job at Vista Trans Holding, it took just a few hours by texting and emailing to approve me, the next day they schedule my drug test and the day after i was called for my orientation, they offer me 2024 Volvo. Thank you guys, i really appreciate your efforts to make it easy for your drivers. JENNIFER, you are my angel.
It’s a great company I’m not gonna lie.Jennifer,Antonia, are the best, they helping you with such a kindness each time you have any issues and in dispatch there’s a guy named Alex to me is one of the best, they pay you good with no problem, don mess with your money, now my only problem is,recently one guy named Nicholas his a claim specialist,he took $500 on my paychecks for like 5 weeks and couldn’t even have any details the only thing he said was “”I have a claim against me”” I ask him several times to send me a copy on my email like for three day consecutively he never respond,I called him no answer…..for that matter, one star off for me ! And I’m pretty sure that I’m not the only one who experienced that with him, othe then that I’m very satisfied with everything..
Such an amazing and family oriented company to work for! Their pay is competitive and they keep you rolling. Once you're here, you're here to stay until you retire. I guarantee it!
Vista Trans is a great company. I’m very grateful that they gave me the opportunity to begin my commercial driving career!
I really for the 1st time in year's have finally found a good, no great company to work for, the staff are awesome people to work for and they give you loads and trust me they have lot and lots of miles, this company is hands down absolutely theee best company I have ever worked for!! Thank you vista the the awesome opportunity.
I have had a great experience working with Vista, nothing is better than knowing that someone is listening and ready to help you. This is the case for Inna from the accounting service department. She is extremely professional and very well knowledgeable in this area. She pays very close attention to any request or explanation/clarification regarding my salary. Really, the company needs to hire a lot more people of Inna's caliber.
Don't listen to the bought and paid for fake 5 star reviews ..unless you like driving for free..do not go here , they are unprofessional, don't take responsibility or accountability for their own equipment and will make company drivers do owner op work and responsibility *pay wise* with below living wage and their dispatchers carry the biggest attitudes and will talk to their drivers like dead meat..oh! And don't have any family..they don't value family in this company and will leave you to cook to death in their trucks and none of them know how to use a phone unless it's to harass you, all these 5 star reviews are paid for and they will rob you of your money..don't work here unless you like working for free
Whoever comes to this company as an owner operator and need a good dispatcher, ask for Vasil he’s the best dispatcher I worked with in this company. He’s a great dispatcher to work with always makes sure you get you want a keep you busy. If there was more than five stars to give I would have given him…
I'm afraid that now I'm going to tell you everything I know about this company, and all the drivers will run to get a job here! But as a thank you, I have to express my thoughts. From the very beginning, as I was invited to work, and to this day absolutely all employees of this enterprise do not leave without attention for a minute. At any time of the day. I am especially grateful to Anastasia, as well as Jennifer, Paul, and my accountant Inna, my dispatcher Jumadil. And especially the log book support of Ilona, Kirill and others.
Higley recommended, like the the company. So far everything is good. Special thanks to : Noa, Anastasia, Maria and Jennifer . They are so organized and helpful for new driver's.
So far I've been with Vista trans for two weeks and it is the best company bar far my dispatcher Julie is thorough and reliable she is very diligent seeing that loads are available and prepped to customers desire .I feel safer with this company as a dry van driver .
I love this company It has good equipment
This is a great company to work. They give you good mileage and great pay. Good atmosphere and great people to be around. All dm and management is vocal and responsive in a orderly manner.
I heard about Vista from a fellow StepDeck truck driver that told me that this is a good company to work for. Well I think he was wrong Vista is a Great company to work for.
I've had a great experience here. They understand that OTR driving can be stressful at times, and their dispatch team does their best to support drivers. Excellent company!
This is the worst company I've encountered. They withhold escrow funds and keep your money. They also fine drivers for citations or any other situations they decide warrant penalties. Terrible experience overall.
Pros The professional team at Vista makes working with them smooth and fair, which is exactly what we were searching for—and we found it. They genuinely care about each truck and driver, and we’re grateful to have partnered with them. We look forward to expanding further as we already have several trucks with them. They have honored their commitments, making daily business communication seamless. Building relationships with people across the company has been easy, and we already feel like part of their family. Cons Nothing but positive experiences at Vista.
Pros None. They fail in every aspect. Cons Avoid this company—they lack clients and solid accounts, relying solely on brokering loads. Drivers are left idle for extended periods with little work, and securing a decent job here is nearly impossible.
Pros Fleet managers are fine. Trailer and repair shops are not that bad. Cons Dispatchers are no good at all. I’m sitting in my truck at least 2-3 days of week. Dispatchers from vista trans don’t know how to plan and load properly
Pros good payment for the driver otr Cons home time is not enough
Pros NOTHING!!! I REPEAT!!! NOTHING !!!!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!! Cons This company will cheat you and steal your salary from week 1. They lay you over at pilot/Flying J for two three days with no loads. They work off loads from brokers won't pay for your layovers or detention If you do get a load don't expect another one to follow for 2 days! If you happen to get stuck in snow or soft patch the money will come out of your next check without notice. All these things happened to me in my first month driving for them. I am serious. If you don't believe me go take your turn and find out for yourself! GOOD LUCK!
Pros Professional work environment, good pay, and benefits. Cons None for me so far.
Pros There are no positives. I only gave a 1-star rating because it was required. Cons Do not drive for this company. The positive reviews are fake, written by people paid to praise them. The company is awful—the trucks are in poor condition, and they deceive drivers. They’ll get you stranded far from home and pressure you to drive illegally. If you refuse, they abandon you, as they are doing to me right now. They told me they won’t pay what they owe and refuse to cover my transportation home. I am currently stranded in Chicago, but I live in Texas.
