I give Voyager Express two thumbs way up 👍👍
A vision of keeping it simple and nailing it has been the heartbeat of the company for over 30 years
off the charts Great people
Handle it like pros
24/7 access to showers, bathrooms, and other perks. It's like a home away from home, bro
My carrier uses this location as it's Denver drop yard. The Voyager staff is friendly and there is always space there its great to take your break at so you don't have to hunt around Denver for a spot if you roll in late. The only draw back is most of the drop lot is dirt don't come after a rainy day or if you just washed your truck as when other drivers go through the lot they kick up a ton of dirt.
I have called about buying used trailers and no one returned my calls. Likewise I called about renting drop yard space and no one returns my calls. This is sad considering the owner introduced himself to me when we met along the driveway.
When I can hangout with my friends, Royce doesn't mind telling me about his last load, what it is, and where it's going. He sure does enjoy working for Voyager!!
Dirt Parking lot. They recently filled in the potholes, but it's getting bad already. If it rains, have fun in the mud. Insufficient lighting on premises. They do have a bathroom and small lounge on the far side of the building. Typically no issues getting a spot.
Safe secure place to drop a trailer or even park for the night. There are potholes so big and deep they remind me of the craters left by the atom bombs that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I wish they could do something about that. There is also a bullet hole in the sign out front which would indicate this is not a great area so I wouldn't recommend walking the dog very far here 😬
Drop yard for my company. Sad to see my hard work go down the drain. 24hr access. Shower and laundry available.
I do with the Gate code was more readily available..
I'm a trucker out of Dallas, Texas. Every time I've visited Voyager, great service was given to me. I recommend using these guys
Plenty of space to manuever, easy to get in and out of with plenty of close by gas stations.
3 stars bcos you can get in anytime of the day as long as you got the gate code... This yard for over 4years I have been coming here...nothing been done to the huge neck breaking pot holes at every 6foot of the drop yard...not good at all...and when it rains..No Comments!
Just don’t. Horrible pay. Kayla redid the pay for the flatbed so she wouldn’t have to pay us as much. She’s a horrible example of how someone should run a company.
I worked 8 years for Voyager Express and enjoyed every day of it Jeff was a great boss and a great person all the garbage and I got along just fine I know I drove Jim the maintenance guy crazy but I had to retire early because of bad hip! I really enjoyed my time there and miss driving!
I don’t drive anymore due to physical impairments. But this company was the best company I’ve worked for. They bought us pizza if we were there over the weekends for maintenance or a reset. Aswell gave understanding of circumstantial medications.
Seems to be a great place as of right now to work for. As far as their yard/ lot it is fairly easy to maneuver and everyone had been really nice and welcoming. I'll update this at a later time if there is any changes as we've only been coming here for a few weeks now but definitely so far so good.
Great company and staff. I just hate the cameras that record the driver behind the wheel that only seems to build a negative profile about when that product could assemble a positive profile for a driver as well yet it doesn’t.!!!!!!!!
I worked for this company for over 3 years, and it’s honestly one of the best companies I have worked for in a while, I wish I had found them sooner. They are very honest and respectful and provide lots of work. Im definitely satisfied with this company.
Voyager is a very decent company.. Unfortunately I was not getting good hours and didn't want nights at the time.. Tim is a great guy in the front office and we still chat when he has time.. I send friends there.. And still have friends that work there.. Great group of drivers.. Keep building great business to work at.. Thank You...
To put it simply, this is THE BEST trucking company I have ever worked with....BAR NONE!!! I've been trucking for close to 28 years now, and that says a lot about this company. I'm thankful, happy, and proud to be an integral part of this team!
New trucks but alot of old crappy trailers ! Owner is nice, good to talk with. Home when I want. Mechanics I find to be rude to drivers .
A decent company if you're looking for local work. Raises are never given, and pay is often inaccurate, requiring calls to get adjustments. They primarily deliver Chrysler parts, so when the plant shuts down, so do the drivers.
No work-life balance, no job security. Drivers are treated as numbers rather than people. No one checks in to ensure your success—you're expected to know everything from the start. Mistakes result in immediate termination.
A suitable company for drivers fresh out of school. Equipment is acceptable. Pay is straight-time, with no holiday pay or overtime. Be prepared for long hours.
Had problems with dispatch—they made me take a trailer from a broken dock. I’d return if they fixed the issue, but they had three weeks to do it and didn’t. Almost got into a confrontation with dock workers over dispatch decisions. The work is easy, and the environment can be fun.
No overtime—only straight-time pay, with no holiday compensation. This job is best suited for new CDL-A drivers just graduating from trucking school.
They blame drivers for mistakes they weren’t trained on. No union protection—if anything goes wrong, you take the fall, even if someone lies about you. The Safety Captain is unhelpful. However, intermodal management and dispatch are reasonable.
Voyager offers low wages and a poor benefits package. Raises are nonexistent, and they don’t invest in employees, though they seem to find money for other things. Tractors are rebuilt and unreliable. They use Lytx cameras, and the safety department fosters a culture of harassment toward employees. In my opinion, this company is not worth your time.
With over 20 years of commercial driving experience, I knew the routines, but driving the Rockies challenged all of my skills—climbing and descending those mountains is serious business. Management can be inflexible, but as a company driver, compliance is the only option unless you’re ready to turn in your keys—just like at any trucking company. The company operates somewhat like a mom-and-pop business with an extended-family atmosphere. Schedules can often be adjusted to suit driver needs. The job is tough—delivery schedules come with penalties despite issues like traffic congestion, mudslides, detours, and harsh weather. Still, the highways along the routes are stunning. If you manage your time wisely, breaks can be breathtaking and well worth it.
Great ownership, management, and teammates. There’s strong earning potential at Voyager Express. The location is nice, and the maintenance team is outstanding and always available for drivers.
A family-oriented company. Easy to get along with both on and off the road. The maintenance team is helpful, and the owner knows drivers personally—even recognized my mother during her occasional visits. If the pay had been better, I’d still be here—but at the time, it was exactly what I needed.
Work-life balance is solid. It’s a great team and a good place to work. The owner is friendly and open to new ideas. Voyager Express operates across the Pacific, Mountain, and Central regions. Weekly home time is common. For example, if a driver leaves for California on Monday, they can return to Denver with 2,000 miles. Adding a Kansas run brings the total to 3,000 miles before heading home for the weekend. Most loads are drop-and-hook.
Modern equipment, including trailers, is well-maintained. Plenty of work opportunities and locations to explore. The staff and drivers are great—I loved my time here.
